Aoife Moores
After joining Malahide Camera Club only this year, my passion for photography has been reignited. I love to shoot people, places and architecture that tells a story through my lens.
Joining the club has brought great joy, the opportunity to meet new people also passionate about photography; encouraging me to follow my love for storytelling through a lens.

Put on the Red Light
Urban Rugby Scrum
I was lucky enough to get access to the rooftop of The Marker hotel at night. You can clearly see the dynamic shape of the Aviva stadium shining through, while nestled in the darkness of the Dublin buildings and it’s night sky.
I like that it draws the eye deep into the curves of the Aviva against the straight lines of the Dublin apartment and office buildings. If you look closely, you can just about see the outlines of the older Georgian houses underneath.
Put on the Red Light
This shot was taken at night at the Grand Canal dock in front of the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre. The red ‘light sabres’ were designed to denote the red carpet synonymous with theatres all over the world.
I love the reflection of the red moving through the water at night and how it balances with the city lights resting behind it.
