I’m a person who loves Adventure Travel and capturing my memories and  experiences through my photography. I love to experience wild, remote and extreme locations as well as diverse and unique people cultures. My travels have taken me across six continents (so far) from searching for Polar Bears in the high Arctic to the driest deserts on Earth.

Prayer Time, Bhutan

“Prayer Time” was captured in a Buddhist monastery in Bhutan whilst the monk was performing his daily prayers and devotions. Prayer Wheels are deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions of Bhutanese Buddhism and are found in every monastery, dzong or temple. Spinning the wheel in Buddhism is equal in merit to orally reciting the mantras contained within the wheel. I deliberately used a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of the spinning wheel.

Portal to the Centre of the Earth

“Portal To The Centre Of The Earth” is an aerial drone shot taken over the deserts in Utah. The amazing colours and patterns come from the Bentonite clay which derives from volcanic ash that has become infused with a wide range minerals. The image makes me think of a celestial eye or gateway leading to the centre of the earth. The Portal is located in the same region as the Mars Desert Research Station who’s location was selected because of its Mars-like terrain and appearance despite being much warmer than the actual planet Mars.
