Another favourite of mine. That great night of the Aurora on the 10th May 2024. I knew that Friday was going to be a good night and I nearly forgot about it. I was out in my back garden looked up at the sky and remember sightings were predicted to be good that night. I checked the app & they were amazing. An hour before it got dark, I was at the high rock staking out my spot. I knew it was going to crazy. I didn’t move the tripod for 3 hours. Out of the 200 plus photos taken that night this is the one that made the cut.

Shot on a Sunday morning, it was not the photograph I went out to capture. It was a case of seeing something & trying something new and it worked, thankfully.
