This photo was taken during storm Leonardo.
Leonardo brought unusually strong east coast winds, which made for "The perfect Storm".
This image was taken at Balbriggan Lighthouse 5 February 2026.
It was a good opportunity to test myself and the camera's capabilities.
It was such an adrenaline rush, totally making me become a Storm chaser .....
I shoot with a Canon R5. Lens 100/400 and 24/70
The Field
This image was taken near Swords Co Dublin.
It is a field I regularly photograph.
I love to see what they plant each year as they rotate the crop.
I particularly like the leading lines of the cut wheat in the field that lead to the trees.
I thought it was a good image to convert into B&W.
I still have a lot to learn about what makes for a good B&W image and as this is my first year in MCC I'm sure I will learn so much from the more experienced photographers.
