I have been an active member of Malahide Camera Club since 2017. Over the years, I have immersed myself into club life and developed a keen eye for storytelling and an appreciation for capturing moments that resonate. My favourite genres are landscape, architecture and portrait photography. In 2025, I stepped into the role of Club Chairperson, and I’m passionate about creating opportunities for photographers of all levels to develop their skills, share their work, and feel part of a supportive and inspiring environment such as Malahide Camera Club.

Bend in the Road
Copper Coast geopark stretches from Tramore to Dungarvan in Waterford and the 19th century mining complex Tankardstown Engine House one of its most notable attractions. The mine is situated across the road from imposing coastal section of steep cliffs and free standing rocks. Shot hand held in late afternoon with favourable weather conditions and was taken whilst on a camera club workshop to Waterford.
Mosque
Islamic Centre, Rijeke, Croatia.
Shot handheld on a blisteringly hot day at noon, made for very challenging lighting conditions, The image rendered best in monochrome. The mosque's dome is shaped in five separate parts that visually constitute a single object. The project was originally designed by a sculptor rather than an architect; Dusan Dzamonja initially sculpted a miniature model of the mosque, before collaborating with architects Branko Vučinović and Darko Vlahović to bring his model to life. Built on an elevated site provides breathtaking views of the city.
