Egret on the Move
Copper Coast
Egret on the Move
Egret on the move was shot on the Alvor estuary in Portugal. The wetlands of the Alvor estuary offer, a wide variety of birds not found in Ireland. I love shooting birds and wildlife, particularly when they are engaged in hunting and feeding. They are extremely agile, elegant birds who move quietly but also often at speed when engaged in this behaviour. Portugal is an important stop over location for migratory birds moving between Africa and Europe. It's one of my favourite places in the world to shoot wildlife.
Copper Coast
Copper Coast is a located is Waterford and offers a stunning array of extremely rugged coastline. Each small cove or inlet provides the photographer with landscapes so rugged and beautiful as to be breath taking. Standing at the edge of the sea at sunrise or sunset feeds my soul and reminds me of the intense beauty of the world. The ever changing light challenges the photographer to change perspective and settings often within short periods of time.
